The Anchor Bible Church We teach the all-sufficient Scripture toward a high view of God and the eternal hope of the gospel.

Why We Exist

In the summer of 2011, a group of Christians began praying together on Monday nights in Redlands, California. They asked the Lord to provide a shepherd who would lead them in planting a church that would honor Christ with a genuine devotion to the gospel. Upon completion of the Grace Advance Academy, Pastor Todd Barnett became that shepherd. The biblical foundations of this church th

On September 4th, 2011, forty-four people gathered as The Anchor Bible Church for their first Lord's Day worship service, rejoicing in what He has and will accomplish, for His glory!

This Sunday, we were taught about three sources of voluntary offerings from 1 Chronicles 29:1-20, so that we would bless Yahweh’s name by giving offerings for the next generation. We saw how God’s people freely made offerings, gifts that ultimately came from God’s own hand, to build a temple to Yahweh. This passage teaches us that although God does not depend upon our contributions, He still desires for us to give joyfully from what He has given.

Let us rejoice knowing that God blesses us so that we may participate in the proclamation of the Gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ!

🏁 VBS DAY 4 🏁

On our final day of VBS, the kids learned about the importance of making wise choices from Proverbs 3:5-6. In this final lesson, our kids learned that the greatest way we can trust in the Lord is by obeying His Son, Jesus Christ, and His Word!

VBS 2026 was a joyful time of seeking God's wisdom like treasure. This week, our kids learned about the fear of Yahweh, the importance of having wise friends, and the power of our words.

Today our kids learned about the importance of having wise friends! Our children were taught from Proverbs 13:20, which emphasizes our theme this week of choosing to fear God and be wise, and not be influenced by others to make foolish decisions.

📣 DAY 2 OF VBS: MISMATCH DAY 📣

Today our kids learned about Proverbs 18:21 and the power of their words, and that life and death are in the power of the tongue. This further highlighted our need to fear the Lord so we may know His ways to love one another, and not despise His wisdom! Our children also have the opportunity to share and pray with one another in small groups led by our leaders.

Skits, songs, crafts, small groups - all of the activities our kids enjoy together have scripture & lessons within them! What a joy it is to share truths with these children, trusting in Christ for the work He is doing in their lives.

Day 1 of VBS, our kids learned about the fear of the Lord from Proverbs 1:7! They discussed what it meant to fear the Lord rightly and gain wisdom. They also learned about the foolish people who despised God’s instruction.
Our kids sang along with our very own Poppy Seeds, enjoyed a puppet show, a skit, played some games and got creative with some crafts! 🎨

Vacation Bible School at is almost here! Join us June 15-18, from 6:00-8:30 pm, for four evenings filled with fun, friendship, and the truth of God’s Word.

Children entering K-5th grade will enjoy Bible lessons, songs, games, crafts, skits, and more—all designed to help them know Christ and His gospel.
