Moses spoke with God atop Mt. Sinai. God told Moses that he could not look at him in his glory and live.
Simon Peter spoke with Jesus at the foot of a mountain. He looked Jesus directly in the face and confessed that he was God.
Why don’t these two events contradict? Because God humbled himself by clothing his glory with our humanity.
That’s what we’ll be reminded of in worship this Sunday and Monday. See you there!

2000 years ago, Gentile Christians were stopped from entering into the temple in Jerusalem by a wall. The Holy Spirit through the apostle Paul writes to tell them the wall that existed between these two groups of Christians was torn down. More importantly, Christ has torn down the wall put up by our sin between us and God.

This weekend, we'll begin a new sermon series: Unexpected Truths!

Who belongs? How much forgiveness is enough? What does true strength and endurance look like? How much do you owe to the people around you? The world may have conditioned you to answer those questions in a certain way: Not everyone belongs, forgiveness has limits, look out for yourself first, you don't owe anyone a single thing. But the way God's Word answers can be unexpected.

For the next seven weeks, we'll take on these questions and let God show us why his answers are so much different from our own.

Unable to join us for worship? Our 8:30AM Sunday worship at St. Paul's will now be livestreamed each week! If you miss the livestream, the service will also be recorded and available afterward on our website and Youtube. Here's the link: https://youtube.com/?si=vt9ghL4r3BrnWUoc

God has blessed us with the gift of technology, so livestream is his gift to us. But whenever possible, we encourage you to gather together in person with your fellow believers. "Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, but encouraging one another." Hebrews 10:24-25

At the heart of the Christian faith is God's grace in Christ. Every believer stands before God as a sinner saved through the sacrifice of his son. In love for his Church, God also gives pastors whose lives are to reflect the Shepherd they proclaim. Join us Sunday morning at St. Paul's and Trinity, or Monday at Trinity 6:30PM to hear more!

What does Jesus want from us? We might immediately think of something we need to do for Him. This Sunday, we'll learn from the story of Mary and Martha that what Jesus wants from us is to let Him serve us. Join us tomorrow at St. Paul's or Trinity as we continue our sermon series, "What to Expect."
