Pentecost Sunday
Come Holy Spirit
Sermon Title: “Your Package has Arrived!”
Acts 2:1-4 NIV

Expectation changes our mannerisms. The same way we wait for packages from Amazon, Fed Ex and UPS is the same as what occurred at Pentecost for the disciples.

Key points to remember:
1. Holy Spirit is an equal opportunity indweller. ALL of them were filled with the Holy Spirit.

2. Holy Spirit is a master communicator. The Galilean people were able to speak the gospel in other languages, unknown to them.

3. Holy Spirit never shows up empty handed. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you until there is overflow.
Pray that the Holy Spirit examines everything and everyone that has access to you. They may require movement out of your life for the Holy Spirit to do work!

Next Sunday is our Sunday of rest.

Mary is having a conversation at the tomb with people who were not there. Grief will disconnect you from reality.

Grief will convince you to carry dead things.

When Jesus calls your name, the resurrection becomes your reality.

We thank God for the eight souls who went down in the water today and joined the Body of Christ!
