There are times of waiting. We find ourselves in a pause much like an airplane pilot who knows how to land his plane, but suddenly finds himself circling the airstrip Because the air traffic controller has placed her or him in a holding position. If the pilot moves ahead anyway, the plane and the passengers could be in danger. It's much like that in our own lives.
There will be a time of waiting until authorization is granted to land. In life we do not want to stay in a holding position. Waiting seems unfair but, it teaches us patience. So often we are forced to wait in the pursuit of our dreams, needs and destiny. When we are waiting, it may seem that God is a million miles away.
Daniel, started fasting and praying for God to reveal to him the meaning of the dream he had. He prayed and waited. (Dan.10)
Twenty-one days passed and the answer finally came. An angel of the Lord came and told Daniel that God had heard his first prayer. However, there was a war in the heavens. Angels fought with the prince of the kingdom of Persia. This prince withstood the angel for twenty-one days, until Michael the archangel got through and delivered the revelation of the dream Daniel.
1) Waiting seems like a waste of time.
2) Waiting appears to be defeat, when all
along, it is a preparation.
3). Waiting seems like a penalty for some reason. Remember, Your answer is on the way.
God has your next steps in mind. He knows your future. He has placed you in a holding pattern now temporarily to teach you patience. While you wait He is carving a way for you. The difficult part is to trust God with your problems and wait for His answer.. The answers are coming. God is in every situation you face. So be patient and wait.
