Thanks to all who came to help unload the moving truck; It was completed in less than an hour. Pastor and Sue are in the parsonage and settling in, and anxious to meet all of you. The Lords’s goodness and mercy have been abundant during this vacancy. We thank and praise Him always.

Sunday, November 7: Installation service for Pastor Moore, 3 PM, at Messiah. This will be a joint service; no additional services will be held. A reception with light fare will follow the service. Members attending the reception are asked to bring a non-utensil needed (finger food) dish/item to share, such as an appetizer, bars, cookies, or the like.
Beginning Sunday, November 14, services return to the regular times: 9 AM at Messiah, Sunday School follows the service, and 11 AM at Redeemer.

Praise be to God for leading Pastor Moore to accept the call to serve our congregations.

A Divine Call was extended to Pastor Kevin Moore, who is currently serving a congregation in Brewster, WA. Pasted below is a portion of the letter of acceptance from Pastor Moore, which was shared with both congregations at services yesterday.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am thankful for your patience and your prayers. It is with great joy that I have decided to accept the call to serve at Messiah and Redeemer Lutheran Churches. Sue and I are excited to get to know you and to serve the Lord with you for many years to come!
It is with eagerness that I anticipate taking up the Lord’s service there as soon as possible.
May God richly bless you in His service! In Christ,

Joint service, Aug. 29, 3 PM, at Messiah. A meeting will be held immediately after the service to discuss extending a Divine Call for a pastor.
