Today, we remember the tragedy that occurred at Annunciation Catholic Church and School one year ago. We lift up in prayer all those who were affected, especially the families, students, staff, parishioners, first responders, and community members whose lives were forever touched by this event. May we continue to unite in faith, hope, and love as we support one another and remember those who continue to carry the effects of this tragedy.

All are invited to join together in prayer at 3:00 PM today in the Divine Mercy Chapel (located in the main church) to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for all those affected by this senseless tragedy.

Today, we prayerfully remember Fletcher and Harper, as well all students, staff and families affected by the tragedy at Annunciation one year ago. Please continue to hold them in prayer and follow their courageous example by being a beacon of light in your own community.

Last week, Fr. Zé blessed the boundaries of our parish, continuing the old tradition of clergy and parishioners walking the parish perimeter in prayer, asking God for protection, fruitful harvests, and peace. What a beautiful and ancient Christian tradition!

Because our parish boundaries are so large, Fr. Zé adapted the tradition in a unique way. Last week he buried blessed salt and St. Benedict medals at the four corners of the parish. Then, this week, he flew by plane around the parish perimeter, praying over and blessing the land.

Claiming this parish territory for Christ! 🙏 May God bless our parish, protect all who live within its boundaries, and make this land fruitful in faith, hope, and love.
