“God, if You’re not going with me… I’m not going.”

Today’s sermon was a powerful reminder that we were never meant to live off talent, titles, achievements, platforms, or applause. Human nature is weak. Our sufficiency is in God alone.

Without Him, we can accomplish things.
But with Him, lives are transformed.

Lord, keep us humble enough to know we can do nothing apart from You. 🙌🏽

Today was truly a beautiful day in the house of the Lord. 🌸

Sis. Katasha honored our Pastor’s wife, Sis. Wendy Oxendine, for Mother’s Day, along with our eldest mother, Sis. Doretha Barefield. We are thankful for the love, wisdom, prayers, and example these women continue to pour into our church family.

Sis. Wendy also shared a heartfelt Mother’s Day devotion reminding us that this day can sometimes carry grief alongside gratitude - and what a touching and needed reminder it was. Mother’s Day can hold joy, remembrance, longing, healing, and thankfulness all at once, and her words ministered to so many hearts today.

Pastor Donald then preached a powerful message titled “Moma’s Promise,” encouraging us about the prayers, promises, and faith passed down through generations.

And Heaven rejoiced with us today as a young lady made the decision to be baptized in Jesus Name! 🙌🏽💦 There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a soul respond to the call of God.

We are so thankful for the sweet presence of the Lord we felt throughout today’s service. ❤️

Today, on the National Day of Prayer, we join believers across America in seeking the face of God for our nation. 🇺🇸🙏 Since 1952, this day has served as a reminder that prayer is not a last resort, it is our first response. As the UPCI, we believe in the power of repentance, intercession, and united prayer. Our nation was founded with a recognition of the need for God’s guidance, and today we continue to pray for His wisdom, mercy, and direction. We pray for our leaders, our communities, our churches, our schools, and every family across this country. May there be spiritual awakening, unity, and a renewed hunger for the presence of God in America.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

This past Tuesday, Sis. Orita Murray brought forth such a beautiful and timely word on the story of Deborah.

She reminded us that obedience isn’t just about us - it has a ripple effect. Our “yes” to God can open doors, bring victory, and impact the lives of others in ways we may never fully see.

Deborah didn’t just hear God… she moved when He spoke. And because of her obedience, an entire nation experienced deliverance.

It was a powerful reminder that God is still calling people to rise, to lead, and to trust Him fully - even when it requires boldness.

What could be on the other side of your obedience?

Let’s be willing to say yes, knowing that our obedience could be the very thing God uses to bless someone else. 💛

THE DOOR OF FAITH IS OPEN 🚪🔥

Today Pastor Donald Oxendine reminded us through Amos 9:11–12 that God is still restoring, still rebuilding, and still calling people back to Him!

But what blessed me the most…
He didn’t just come for the “saved”… He came for the heathen too.

That means nobody is too far gone.
Nobody is disqualified.
Nobody is beyond His reach.

God is still saving. Still calling. Still opening doors. 🙌🏽

And today, that Word was confirmed - one soul was baptized in Jesus’ Name! 💧🔥

There’s nothing like being in a room where the presence of God is undeniable 🤍
Today, He poured out His Spirit in such a powerful and personal way.
Just like in Acts 2:32–44… He’s still filling, still moving, still transforming.
Grateful to be a part of it 🙌🏽
