Simon Peter didn’t plan to fail. In fact, he adamantly argued that he would NEVER deny Jesus. And then he denied Christ three times in a row, right before His death on the cross.

When Jesus rose again, Peter must have remembered his denial sorrowfully. Jesus singled him out for his failure, but it wasn’t to shame him. Jesus’ goal was to restore Peter and give him a second chance.

The Ellis County Homeless Coalition is currently seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Outreach and Assistant Outreach Managers. This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity to directly impact the lives of those experiencing homelessness in our community. Couples are encouraged to apply, but individuals are welcome as well!
