Illumin8 Kids Ministry—Wednesday, March 4, 2026

Everyone joined in pledges to the American and Christian flags, and the Bible. The Bible verse, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Next, it was time for “What Do You Know?” Mrs. Rhonda drew names to determine who had the opportunity to answer questions about the previous lesson. The latest total for the offering for Bella Pregnancy Center was displayed. Next week, kids can bring any denomination of money to donate!

Mrs. Rhonda then led the kids in a song. The lesson was from John 4, about the Samaritan woman at the well. The woman came to draw water when Jesus asked her, “Would you give me a drink of water?”

This surprised the woman as Jesus was a Jew, and she was a Samaritan. (In those days, Jews wouldn’t be caught dead talking to Samaritans.) Jesus answered, “If you knew the gift of God and who is it that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

She questioned how this could happen. Jesus talked to her and revealed things about her life that he would not have known if he were not Jesus. She thought he was a prophet. He revealed to her that a time was coming when all would worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth. She said she knew that the Messiah is coming, and when he comes, he will explain everything to us. Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”

A video was shown about the encounter of the woman at the well and Jesus.

Mrs. Rhonda asked them to think about something they have done that no one knows about. She reminded them that God knows and He loves you no matter what!
