First Red Oak Intentionally living our lives to connect people to Jesus and His greater purpose. Thank you for visiting our website. We do enjoy our Sunday morning experience.

The purpose of this website is to give you a brief preview into the life and ministry of First Baptist. It is not designed to answer all questions that someone might have. But hopefully it will generate more interest to the point of you wanting to experience our worship service on Sunday mornings at 10:30am located at 320 E Ovilla Rd, 75154. First Baptist Church is a place where real people with real issues are discovering real solutions. We are not a perfect people and we do not pretend to be. Our atmosphere is relaxed and upbeat – our worship is meaningful and dynamic – and the message each week is inspirational, passionate, and applicable to where we live each day. Our intent is for everyone who comes on Sunday morning to be glad they came. We believe it is worth it! We have something for everyone, regardless of age. So take that next step and check us out by attending our 10:30 Sunday morning service. We believe you will be glad you did!

❤️ HAPPY PASTOR APPRECIATION DAY! ❤️ We are thankful to have the best!

Today we’re taking a moment to say THANK YOU to the incredible people who faithfully lead, serve, encourage, teach, pray, and pour into our church family.

Jared. Cody. Drew. Amy. Caden.

Each of you brings something unique to First Red Oak Church, but together you make an incredible team. Thank you for the countless hours, the behind-the-scenes moments, the prayers, the conversations, the laughs, and most importantly, for faithfully pointing people to Jesus.

Ministry is more than what happens on a stage or behind a microphone. It’s showing up, loving people, serving when no one is watching, and being willing to say yes to God again and again.

We are so grateful for each of you and the way you serve our church and our community. Today, we celebrate YOU! 🎉

🍬🎃 CANDY BASH IS COMING… AND WE NEED YOU!

Halloween is almost here, which means it’s time for one of our favorite nights of the year! 🎉

Our Candy Bash is happening on Halloween from 4:00–6:00 PM, and we need volunteers to help make it an unforgettable night for families in our community.

There are plenty of ways to jump in—whether you’re handing out candy, helping with games, welcoming families, or making sure the whole night runs smoothly.

The pantry is open to anyone in our community and is available on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.

No matter what season you’re in, you’re welcome. ❤️

We’re grateful to partner with 4:19 Food Pantry to serve our neighbors, meet practical needs, and show the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is simply stop, worship, pray, and remember who is in control.

Join us tonight from 6:30–8:00 PM for an evening of worship, prayer, and communion as we come together as a church family and seek God.

And yes—bring the whole family! ❤️
We’ll have activities for kids and students, so everyone has a place.

Come ready to worship. Come ready to pray. Come expecting God to move.

We’re STILL in awe of everything God did through our church family during Be the Church this weekend! ❤️

And let’s not forget… WE DID IT IN THE RAIN! 🌧️🙌 The weather didn’t stop our church family from showing up, serving, loving our neighbors, and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

From start to finish, so many of you jumped in and gave your time, energy, and hearts to serve our community. We are SO grateful for every person who served, gave, encouraged, prayed, and helped make this weekend so special!
