Palm Sunday
Tomorrow churches everywhere will observe Jesus’s last trip into Jerusalem before His crucifixion:
Jesus has raised Lazarus from the dead.
Mary, the sister of Lazarus, has washed Jesus’s feet with oil and her hair preparing him for burial.
Jesus arrives in Jerusalem for the festival of Passover as the crowds greet him waving palm branches and shouting, “Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”
Jesus finds a donkey c**t as prophesied in the Old Testament and rides it.
He’s made His public appearance and made Himself available for His final act as our sacrificial lamb.
