Rocky Point Church We are a small rural church that studies the Bible and lives God's word to the best of our ability. and Butterfield Trail.

We support our community through worship, service, and the giving of our time and monetary donations. It is a small rock building with a red roof at the corner of Rocky Point Rd.

Palm Sunday

Tomorrow churches everywhere will observe Jesus’s last trip into Jerusalem before His crucifixion:

Jesus has raised Lazarus from the dead.

Mary, the sister of Lazarus, has washed Jesus’s feet with oil and her hair preparing him for burial.

Jesus arrives in Jerusalem for the festival of Passover as the crowds greet him waving palm branches and shouting, “Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

Jesus finds a donkey c**t as prophesied in the Old Testament and rides it.

He’s made His public appearance and made Himself available for His final act as our sacrificial lamb.

Matthew 21:1-9
“When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a c**t with it. Untie them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them on immediately.” Now this took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold your King is coming to you, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a c**t, the foal of a donkey.’ ” The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them, and brought the donkey and the c**t, and laid their cloaks on them; and He sat on the cloaks. Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them on the road. Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!””

Rocky Point Church is decorated for fall! My son once asked me if all churches are decorated as much as ours is for all the seasons. I told him that I seriously doubted it because they don’t have me going overboard! 😁

Rocky Point Church is looking for, and taking applications for, a non-denominational, Christian preacher. We are a traditional Bible believing church and require a preacher who brings the message according to the Bible. In the beginning we will require 2 Sundays a month for church services.
