Hearts for Hunger Hearts for Hunger is a non-profit (501c3) food pantry ministry operating within Pleasant View Church. Hearts for Hunger was founded by Phil and Grace Smith.

They felt that there was a strong need for a food pantry in the local community, and after praying on the idea, Hearts for Hunger was born. After about 6 months of planning and organizing, we opened our doors in October 2013. With enough initial donations to stay open for about 3 months, it was a rocky start. But with guidance from God, and help from Pleasant View Church and it's congregation and local business support, Hearts for Hunger currently serves over 100 families and growing
