First Pentecostal Church of Red Bud

First Pentecostal Church of Red Bud You are INVITED

Sundays @ 2pm
Wednesday @ 7pm

Sunday school for the kids provided during service Brother and Sister Frisbie came to Red Bud, IL in 2001.

The church was renting an old building in Red Bud; but God started opening the doors for a new building! Only God knew the hardship and trials we would go through to build our building, but we knew it would be worth it all! In 2003 we had a tent Revival on the land we planned to build our Church by faith! After that, God helped pass everything through so we could finish our brand new church buildi

ng in 2005! In March of 2017 the torch was passed to Rev Vernon House serving under the leadership of Bishop Joel Homes. During this time of renewing of leadership, our church name was also changed to the First Pentecostal Church of Red Bud (FPC of Red Bud). We look forward to what God has in store for his children in Red Bud Illinois!

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month. đź’ś

Last year, several of our brothers and sisters in Christ from FPC of Red Bud courageously came forward and shared their personal journeys through su***de, mental health struggles, and the places God has brought them from. Although these testimonies were recorded last year, their stories—and their message of hope—are still just as relevant today.

If you are struggling with suicidal thoughts, feeling hopeless, or experiencing a mental health crisis, please know that you are not alone. Reach out. Talk to someone. Call a trusted friend or family member, a counselor, or your pastor/minister. Sometimes faith means having the courage to let someone know you need help.

And if you are in immediate crisis or experiencing thoughts of su***de, please call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Over the coming days, we will be sharing these powerful testimonies again in hopes that someone who needs encouragement may find it.

You are loved. You are valuable. You are not alone.
