The Helping Harvest Board of Directors recently approved a new strategic plan, a comprehensive roadmap designed to guide our growth through the end of this decade.

This plan sharpens our mission to provide nutritious food to people facing hunger in our communities, and a renewed vision in which every person facing food insecurity has access to the food they need.

We hope to accomplish this through several long-range strategies including:

🏘️ Targeted and relational community service
🔗 Supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
🤝 Stewardship as a defining value
👩‍🍳 Maximizing the Community Kitchen
📖 Building a culture of storytelling

Today, our department mourns the heartbreaking loss of Officer Kristen Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to a call for service on May 29, 2026.

Officer Yeager served our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She answered the call to protect and serve each day, placing the safety of others above her own. Her commitment to her badge, her fellow officers, and the citizens she served will never be forgotten.

We ask that you keep Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and our entire law enforcement family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will live on forever. We got it from here.

Attention Niagara Falls Trip Participants- Our group will meet the next 3 Sundays, May 31, June 7, and June 14 after worship about 12:15pm. We will meet in the back of the nave. We need to sign waivers. Review free time choices at the camp. Check schedule. Etc. Plan to be at church at 7am on Thursday, June 18.
