After-School Program that reaches at-risk students on so many different levels by providing a safe place, hot meals, homework center, fun activities, opportunities to interact with positive role models, and learning the Bible all while experiencing the love of Jesus. At City Light Ministry-The Fortress, it is our goal to reach children and youth at their point of need. Most of our kids live in poverty. The best way to break the cycle of poverty that has existed in our families for decades is through education. This is why we offer an After-School Program at our Spruce Street site. All students are welcome to participate free of charge. We provide a hot meal, homework center, daily Bible devotion, and lots of fun activities in between. We also have a Summer Camp Program. We are thankful for so many dedicated volunteers that have made our After-School Programs such a success over the years!
