This morning, we continued our study through Mark's Gospel and considered the authority of Jesus Christ.

The religious leaders questioned His authority, rejected the truth, and refused to submit to Him.

But their rejection did not change who Jesus was - He was still the King!

And the same is true today.

Jesus' authority demands our submission.

Last Sunday, we saw the King who examines His people!

Jesus is not merely concerned with outward appearances, but with the condition of our hearts. A profession of faith is not the same as possessing genuine faith. The Lord looks for fruit, not merely leaves.

This past Sunday, we returned to the Gospel of Mark and considered “The King Who Comes” (Mark 11:1–11).

Jesus entered Jerusalem as the promised King who came to save His people from their sins.

The question is not simply whether we admire Jesus, but whether we have submitted to Him as King.
