This past Wednesday night, we continued our series through Hebrews 11 with “Enoch: Walking with God by Faith” from Hebrews 11:5–6.

Enoch’s life was marked by one simple testimony: he walked with God.

In a dark and ungodly world, Enoch believed God, sought God, and lived to please God. His life reminds us that the Christian life is not one spectacular sprint—it is a daily walk of faithfulness.

We’re taking a short break from our study of Christology to begin a periodic emphasis on Men Who Lead. Tomorrow we’ll start with:

"Character Before Position"

There’s a lot of talk about what it means to be a man. But before we think about position, influence, or leadership, Scripture calls us to think about character.

Before we ask what a man can lead, we need to ask what kind of man he is.

Men of all ages are welcome. Bring your Bible and join us at 6:00 AM!

God has not left preachers to determine their own message or methods. His command is clear: “Preach the word.”

The preacher is not called to entertain, offer personal opinions, chase cultural trends, or simply tell people what they want to hear. He is called to faithfully open the Scriptures, explain what God has said, proclaim Christ, and call people to believe and obey His Word.

The pulpit belongs to God, and those entrusted with it will one day answer to Christ for how they handled His Word.

We hope this message will encourage you, strengthen our church, and encourage those who have been entrusted with preaching and teaching God’s Word to remain faithful to the simple but weighty calling God has given:

Open the Bible. Explain the Bible. Preach Christ. Trust God with the results.
