Connection Kids

Connection Kids Come see us in Kid City on Sundays at 11:00am at Connection Point Church! But we know busy schedules can make this difficult.

Kid City, our Christ-centered ministry for children from Kindergarten to 5th grade, is designed to provoke discovery, inviting kids to live out their new understanding of how to grow in a relationship with God and with others. We tailor discovery to their age group and guide them to apply three basic truths to their everyday lives:
• I need to make the wise choice.
• I can trust God no matter what

• I should treat others the way I want to be treated. As much as we strive to have a godly impact on kids, we are well aware that God’s original (and best) plan is for parents to be the spiritual leaders of their children. Our desire is to partner with you as you lead your family and to provide you with tools to make the lessons come alive at home. If the family and the church partner together to grow a child’s faith, just think of the impact this could make! Kids express themselves differently than adults, so we offer a unique program for your 1st through 6th graders on Sundays:

Powerhouse
11:00 a.m. – Kindergarten through 5th Grade
The kids meet as a large group for Powerhouse, a worship hour with music, games, and a lesson geared toward children. Powerhouse is located at the heart of KidCity in B101-105. Small Group Rotations
Kids break into small groups with other kids their age for Bible study. All of this happens in our awesome children’s area, KidCity. Preteens
At Connection Point, we understand that 4th and 5th graders can feel a little out of place since they aren't one of the little kids anymore and they aren't quite teenagers yet. That's why we have a specific pr***en ministry just for them. Your pr***en isn’t quite a teenager yet, and they don’t learn the same way as a young child anymore, so we have a special schedule just for your pre-teen. We offer Bible study classes for 5th and 6th graders at 11:00 a.m. That way, pre-teens can attend worship with their parents and then be part Kid City.

Parenting is one of the most meaningful—and at times, one of the most challenging—callings we’ve been given. And the truth is, you don’t have to navigate it alone. As a church family, we want to walk alongside you in the everyday moments of parenting, grandparenting, and investing in the next generation.
Parent Summit is happening next weekend—and we don’t want you to miss it.
This free event is designed to encourage and equip you with practical, biblical guidance for the real rhythms of life—not just the big milestone moments, but the day-to-day conversations, decisions, and challenges you face. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other parents and families who are walking a similar path.
Whether you’re raising toddlers, guiding elementary-aged kids, or preparing a teenager for what’s next, this event is for you. Grandparents and guardians, your role matters deeply too—this is a space for you as well. Childcare is available to make it easier for your family to attend.

Parent Summit is Saturday, April 18, from 9:00am-2:00pm, beginning in the Atrium. Make plans to be there and to invite friends and family to join you!
