It will look different. It will sound different. It has 192 chairs upstairs and 81 downstairs. Most importantly it will be worshiping God as a family as brothers and sisters. Join us as we start a new life as a campus of Greater Metropolitan Church of Christ. We will have service at 10:30 this week with a normal time of 9:30 going forward.

Family and Friends of Westridge Christian Church,

After a season of prayerful consideration, the leadership of Westridge Christian Church wishes to share an important update regarding our future. On February 22, 2026, we will gather for our final Sunday morning service as Westridge Christian Church.

Beginning March 1, 2026, we are excited to announce that we will be joining Greater Metro Church of Christ. By becoming a new campus for their ministry, we will be able to extend our reach and impact right here in Raytown. Our elders are truly energized by the vision and ministry that Greater Metro brings to our community.

For 54 years, God has entrusted the leadership of Westridge to shepherd this congregation, and we have been blessed to call 7903 Westridge Road our home since June 20, 1972. We look back with immense gratitude for God’s faithful provision over these five decades. While our name is changing, our mission remains: we will continue to labor as a Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement church, bringing the light of Christ to this area.

Please join us in prayer—for our leaders, for our church family, and for the leadership of Greater Metro—as we work together to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors.
