A Heart Ready to Change

Conversion is not a one-time moment. It is a daily decision.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew within me a steadfast spirit.” (Psalm 51:12 – NABRE)

Each day of Lent invites us to look honestly at our hearts.

Where do we need patience, humility, or mercy? GOD is always ready to renew what we are willing to surrender.

Thought:
What part of your heart is GOD inviting you to change today?

CTA:
Take a moment for quiet reflection. Ask GOD to renew your heart and guide your steps as we continue this Lenten journey.

Faith in the Ordinary

Most of life is ordinary. Work, responsibilities, and daily routines. Yet holiness grows right there.

“Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23 – NABRE)

Lent reminds us that faith is not only practiced in church. It is practiced in patience, in kindness, and in n the way we treat people every day. Small acts done with love become sacred.

Thought:
Are you inviting GOD into the ordinary moments of your day?

CTA:
Offer your work, your conversations, and your responsibilities to GOD today. Let every moment become an act of devotion.

A Soft Heart

Lent is meant to soften us. Not harden us.

“Today, if you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” (Psalm 95:7–8 – NABRE)

A soft heart listens. A soft heart forgives.
A soft heart responds to the voice of GOD.

Sometimes disappointment, hurt, or pride slowly hardens us. But GOD is always inviting us back to tenderness.

Thought:
Is your heart open to GOD’s voice today?

CTA:
Ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart in prayer. Let GOD shape your response, your words, and your actions today.

Guard Your Focus

Lent teaches discipline. Not just in what we eat, but in what we allow to shape our thoughts.

“Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12:2 – NABRE)

Distractions are everywhere. Noise, worry, comparison and even endless busyness. But the Christian life requires focus.

When our eyes stay on Christ, everything else finds its proper place.

Thought:
What has been pulling your attention away from GOD lately?

CTA:
Refocus today. Spend a few quiet minutes with Scripture and prayer. Let Christ reset your direction.

Love That Responds

Love always responds. Christ first loved us.
Now we answer that love with devotion.

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19 – NABRE)

Fasting becomes meaningful when it is done for love. Prayer becomes powerful when it flows from love. Service becomes joyful when it is motivated by love.

Lent is not about rules. It is about relationship.

Thought:
Are your Lenten practices flowing from obligation or from love for Christ?

CTA:
Tell JESUS you love Him today. Let your prayer, sacrifice, and service reflect that love as we continue the journey toward Easter.

Returning to Your First Love

Lent is not only about sacrifice. It is about love. Sometimes faith becomes routine. Prayers become quick. Devotion becomes habit.

But Christ desires more than habit.

“Yet I hold this against you: you have lost the love you had at first.” (Revelation 2:4 – NABRE)

Jesus is not asking for perfection. He is asking for your heart. To fall in love with Him again. To seek Him again. To choose Him again.

Thought:
Do you remember when your love for Christ felt new and alive?

CTA:
Spend time with JESUS today in quiet prayer. Speak to Him honestly. Let this season renew your love.

Faithfulness in the Small Things

True devotion shows itself quietly. In small choices. In steady prayer. In faithful obedience.

“Remain in me, as I remain in you.” (John 15:4 – NABRE)

Devotion is staying connected to Christ. Not only in moments of need. But in moments of peace.

Faith grows through consistency. One prayer at a time. One act of charity at a time. One faithful day at a time.

Thought:
Are you remaining close to Christ, or only turning to Him when life is difficult?

CTA:
Strengthen your devotion today. Read a passage of Scripture, spend time in prayer, and ask GOD to deepen your love for Him.

Wholehearted Devotion

Devotion is more than routine. It is the posture of the heart.

“You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37 – NABRE)

Not part of your heart. All of it. Not when it is convenient. But daily. Lent invites us to examine our devotion.

Is GOD first in our thoughts? First in our decisions? First in our time? Devotion is not perfection. It is commitment.

Thought:
What does your daily life reveal about your devotion to GOD?

CTA:
Offer your time to GOD today in sincere prayer. Let devotion shape your day as we continue toward Easter.

Walk as Children of Light

To awaken is to change direction.

“The night is advanced, the day is at hand. Let us then throw off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12 – NABRE)

Lent reminds us that faith is not passive. We wake up. We stand up. We walk in the light. Habits shift, priorities realign, and hearts turn again toward GOD. Awakening begins with awareness.

Thought:
What area of your life needs the light of Christ today?

CTA:
Let today be a turning point. Choose one action that brings more light into your life, prayer, forgiveness, or generosity and take that step today.

03/10/2026

Wake Up to Grace

Faith can become routine. We go through the motions. We say the prayers. We attend the Mass. But Lent calls us to wake up.

“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14 – NABRE)

Spiritual sleep is subtle.

A distracted prayer life. A quiet drift from GOD. Even a heart that has grown comfortable. But Christ does not whisper condemnation. He calls us back to life.

Thought:
Where in your spiritual life have you grown sleepy?

CTA:
Ask GOD today to awaken your heart. Approach prayer with fresh intention. Let Christ’s light lead you forward.
