𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆: “This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.” Ecclesiastes 5:18

Our work may be difficult, and our days on earth are limited, yet Scripture calls us to recognize the good gifts God places before us. There is wisdom in receiving our daily provision and finding satisfaction in faithful work as gifts from the One who has given us each day.

Lord, thank You for the life, work, and daily provision You have given me. Help me not to overlook Your goodness while chasing after more. Teach me to work faithfully, receive Your gifts with gratitude, and find contentment in what You provide. May I use the days You have given me wisely and for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The way we love, forgive, and encourage others can reflect Christ more than words alone. Let every conversation and every action reveal the hope we have in Jesus. ❤️

Jesus is not saying that having material possessions is wrong. Rather, he shows us that we should not allow them to become our greatest treasure. What is truly valuable is found in our relationship with God, in our love for Him, and in doing good.

Therefore, it is worth asking ourselves: “What matters most to me in life, and where is my true treasure?”

Every day, we have the opportunity to invest in things that time cannot destroy — faith, love, good relationships with others, and friendship with God. Such treasures have lasting value.

So let Jesus’ words be an encouragement to us: let us not allow what is temporary to take away from us what truly has eternal value. Amen.

Faith is not about having every answer before taking the next step. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to trust the Lord completely, knowing He faithfully guides those who choose to follow Him. 👣

Every sunrise is another reminder of God's faithful love. Lamentations 3:22 and 23 tell us His mercies are new every morning, giving us fresh grace for whatever the day brings. 🌅

When disaster strikes close to home, help can move quickly. ❤️

After torrential rain brought devastating flooding across the Midwest last week, Midwest Mission was able to respond with supplies for families facing the hard work of cleaning and restoring their homes.

We received a request from the town of Lansing, Illinois, for Cleaning Kits—supplies to help clean and disinfect flood-damaged homes.

And in Indiana, a God Moment made a quick response possible. Ramon Ortiz, Operations Manager, was already traveling through Indiana, so he was able to add 180 Cleaning Kits, 96 Hygiene Kits, and 10 Menstrual Hygiene Kits to his trailer and deliver them to New Castle First UMC.

In Illinois, we were able to send a Generator with the Illinois Great Rivers Conference as the help with flood relief in Bloomington. This was able to happen because of our board member, Curt Franklin, who was able to deliver it!

Three communities. Three timely requests. Three unexpected opportunities to get help where it was needed.

Because of you and the supplies and funds you donate, when God opens the door, we're ready to walk through it.
