It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jordan Wayne Seabolt, a devoted husband, loving father, son, and friend—truly an all-American man who loved God, family, and country.
Jordan was born on May 16, 1990, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Mona Lisa Reed Hull and Timothy Hull. Over his 35 years, he touched countless lives with his humor, warm smile, compassion, and unwavering sense of honor. A man of strong faith, Jordan’s love for God guided his life and the way he cared for others. He also had a special love for Christmas, a season that reflected his generous spirit, joy, and deep appreciation for family traditions.
Jordan is survived by his beloved wife, Briana Nudi Seabolt, and his cherished daughter, Stella Jane Liberty Seabolt, age 4, who was truly “Daddy’s little princess.” He is also survived by his Irish twin, Marshall Joel Seabolt; brothers, Noah Hull and Cory Hill; and grandparents, Rose Seabolt and Lamar Hull.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michiah Hull; grandparents, Leona Pearl Reed, Gary Seabolt, and Sharon Hull; and his forever best friend, his loyal hound dog, Hank.
Jordan never met a stranger—wherever he went, he found family. Whether among runners, coal miners, soldiers, adventure hunters, or fellow Jeep enthusiasts, he shared his passion for life and inspired others to be their very best. He often reminded those around him to appreciate what they had, with his simple but powerful words: “It could always be worse.” And with a smile, he would joke that he had probably collected more driving tickets than most—a small testament to his adventurous and free-spirited nature.
Jordan proudly served his country for 18 years in the United States military after enlisting on June 18, 2008, as a 91L Construction Equipment Operator. His service included a deployment to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia from February 27, 2019, to February 10, 2020, in support of overseas operations. He continued his dedication to service through Active Duty Operational Support beginning December 1, 2020.
Throughout his military career, Jordan earned numerous honors and qualifications, including the Army Commendation Medal, six Army Achievement Medals, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was also proud to earn the Parachutist Badge and Air Assault Badge, along with Driver and Mechanic Badges. His commitment to excellence was further reflected in his completion of Airborne School and leadership training courses.
In recognition of his distinguished service, Jordan will be posthumously promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant and awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, a testament to his dedication, leadership, and sacrifice.
In addition to his military service, Jordan dedicated 10 years of his life to coal mining, embodying a strong work ethic and pride in providing for his family.
Funeral services will be held at Praise Cathedral Church, 500 Ellwood Street, Ravenswood, West Virginia, on March 26, 2026. A viewing will take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by the service from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, concluding with full military honors.
Jordan lived a life of courage, service, faith, and love. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
