Twinlow Camp and Retreat Center is a place away from the busy and noisy everyday life for you to find adventure, relaxation and rest. When you sign your child up for one of our many kids overnight residential summer camps, your child will unplug from technology and connect with others. We welcome all campers ages to get away and discover nature in our forty acres of woods, waterfront, and grassy f

ields. In addition, your happily ever after wedding can begin on the picture-postcard shore of our wedding venue. Located on the Lower Twin Lakes in North Idaho just north of Coeur d’Alene, Rathdrum, Post Falls, and east of Spokane, we hope you take advantage of all that the lake has to offer, including boating, summer camp, wakesurfing, wakeboarding, overnight camp, fishing, swimming, ice fishing, kids camp, ice skating, or just enjoying some peace and quiet.

Thanks to Kootenai Electric Coop and Associated Arborists, the tree on the waterfront side of Covey Ln which was clearly at the end of its life is no longer a threat to those passing by it or the power lines across the street. :)

Reflecting back on the blessing it was to have the Methodist NOMADS with us this Summer. Here are some pictures of 2 of the big projects the NOMADS complete while they were here. These were a huge blessing to our Day Camp program this Summer to have this shade constructed and the changing stalls built into the structure first made possible by the support of a long time supporter.

Here are some photos from this year’s Middle School Adventure Camp. Our campers learned to tie a couple of different knots they can use in different areas of life, went fishing, kayaked/canoed across the lake, and have slept out in tents amongst other fun activities they’ve done.

With a burn ban in effect preventing us from building a campfire to worship around and roast marshmallows for s’mores, our kitchen staff used the suggestion from our Assistant and made s’mores in the oven for our Middle School campers. They even got creative adding some crumbled Oreos to a bunch (which were a big hit)!

Blessed to have this popcorn machine donated to us by our partners in ministry at Community United Methodist Church in Coeur d’Alene. It has come in handy already with some movie night snacks when the AQI has forced us inside for activities and we see this becoming a fixture at Twinlow as a free snack down in The Oar camp store and snack bar.
