GOOD NEWS CLUBS- Currently over 3,400 weekly school-related Good News Clubs are held across the nation, reaching more than 119,000 students each week. Whether meeting off campus during school hours or on campus after school, these clubs provide an excellent opportunity for children in the public schools to hear the Gospel and learn the truth from God’s word.
5-Day Clubs-A 5-Day club i
...s an evangelistic Bible club held during the summer months, one and a half hours a day for five consecutive days in neighborhood homes, backyards, parks, community centers, apartment complexes, etc. These clubs are taught by CEF trained summer missionaries who have gone through our CYIA (Christian Youth In Action) program, usually high school and college age young people, who give several weeks of their summer to this ministry. Throughout duration of the club children learn biblical truths from Bible lessons, missionary stories, memory verses, and songs. 5-Day clubs are “high octane”; fun, vigorously energetic, intense, dynamic, high-powered, effective, and exciting. Mail Box Club-A primary means of discipleship, the CEF Mailbox Club fueled by the worldwide distribution of The Wonder Book Wonder tracts and student referrals. Almost 2.5 million lessons have been mailed since the club’s inception in 1999. Over 21,000 prisoners actively participate and many have enrolled their children. Almost 14,000 children and adults have accepted Christ as Savior! Each lesson the students send is read, checked, and processed by a dedicated staff, most of whom are volunteers. Students not only complete correspondence lessons but also earn a devotional book when they complete a series, helping them develop the discipline of a personal quiet time with God.
