Marvel Mountain Church presents:Transforming Through the Promises of God. A 3 day 2 night event with special guest speaker Nicole Heidt from Casper, WY.
Nicole is currently the Assemblies of God for the Wyoming District. She served for 10 years on the womens ministry team and as the Wyoming District Youth Minister. Nicole is a graduate of Trinity Bible College. In 2016, when her husband, Troy, passed, the Assemblies of God Church asked her to stay and minister in his place.

When: April 23rd 24th 25th 2026
Where: Rimrock Camp and Retreat Center Rapid City SD
Cost: 160.00 (This is 2 nights and 5 meals, plus materials)

It will probably discussed in a little more detail tonight but Here is Wayne Wilson's response to that gal's question:

Thanks for apprising me of this. I have a general hermeneutical response and it is to follow what the N.T. stipulate by way of command as well as calling people to follow practices rooted in the nature of God (1 Corinthians 11:1) or tied to the creation ordinance (Matthew 19, "but from the beginning it was not so..." and 1 Timothy 2:11-15).

Levarate marriage, which she mentions, was originally tied to continuing one's family lineage and was related to maintaining one's inheritance. These things were important under the Mosaic Law and Jewish tribal family ownership. Levarate marriage is no longer prescribed under the New Covenant because we are no longer under a Jewish theocracy.

This coming Wed is our Q & A session. You, are anyone you know has a question about the Bible, Doctrine, God, or your walk with the Lord (just to name a few categories) please email them here or submit them by tomorrow, Sunday Jan 11th, by dropping them in the offering box. This is a great chance to bring unbelievers or those who are unsure about faith in Christ to get their questions answered and fnd hope. A panel of believers will be there to help answer the questions presented. Blessings on all!

Only 4 days to Marvel Mountain Church Women's Retreat Good Good Father! Looking forward to seeing all of you! I am happy to announce this year we will be able to use the fire places as they have turned them into gas! So those cool nights we will stay warm. The weather is to be in the high 60s low 70s. Bring clothes you can layer. It's usually cold/cool in the morning,hot in the afternoon, and cold/cool in the evenings. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Marvel Mountain Church presents Good Good Father! May 2nd, 3rd, 4th. Things to bring with you. Twin size sheets , blanket or a sleeping bag. If you can a cushion for your bed. They are a little worn being camp beds. Clothes for 2 days, be able to layer we are in the woods. Good shoes to walk in. It is a small walk from the bunkhouse to the chapel.
