Super Bowl LX is scheduled to happen on February 8th in Santa Clara CA as the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks head to head in the championship game of the National Football League. Here at St. Andrew's, we have a long-standing tradition of holding our own championship battle - a battle against hunger in our community. Our SOUPER BOWL doesn't feature half-time entertainment or championship rings but it does make a significant impact on the lives of our relatives throughout the area. Just as strategic as planning those football plays, you have the opportunity to take advantage of sales in your favorite supermarket and visit dollar stores to optimize your generous gifting. A bin will be available in the Narthex by Sunday February 8th waiting for you to carry or drop kick your donations of soup into the SOUPER BOWL endzone as we score against hunger. Just in case you are side-lined on Feb. 8th, the bin will be out for several weeks to give everyone a chance to get off the bench and help St. Andrew's be the MVP in the fight against hunger.

Last year's amazing final score was a record breaking 272 cans of soup. Just imagine the difference that made to hungry families!!

"I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me." Matthew 25:35

We hope you'll join us on Christmas Eve at 5:30 p.m. as we celebrate the birth of Christ!

Our Christmas Eve service will be at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24th. Father David Cameron will be with us to celebrate Holy Eucharist.

At the beginning of the service, everyone will be invited to carry an item from our Advent Giving Tree forward to place on the sanctuary steps as our gifts to the Christ Child. These items will be distributed throughout the community following Christmas.

You are invited to bring the Christ Child from your home nativity set for the Blessing of the Creche - the creche set up in the sanctuary as well as the ones we have set up in our own homes.

The service will end with a candlelight singing of Silent Night. Please plan to celebrate with us that evening.
