Mission
To reduce the recidivism rate of male offenders by minimizing the cases of criminality directly related to substance abuse and other related dysfunctions, by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ while putting HIS love in action via our evangelistic ministry and aftercare program. Our long term goal is to increase our ability to support these men and to be able to focus on healing family relationships. Jesus is the Way Ministries' staff and team visit local county jails, leading engaging Bible studies, uplifting church services, times of prayer, sharing the hope of Jesus and how Salvation and the power of the Holy Spirit can transform the lives of the men they serve.

2. Jesus is the Way Ministries' aftercare site located in Rantoul, IL is New Beginnings Aftercare Center. New Beginnings Aftercare Center provides a residential discipleship program based on the Bible for Christian men who are looking for a new beginning, inspired by their faith in Christ and the actions they choose to take. Our facility provides a supportive, alcohol and drug-free environment tailored to assist individuals battling substance abuse. The program is structured to aid men in reestablishing a sense of normalcy as they transition back into society. This distinctive Christian support network empowers men to reacquire fundamental life skills through guidance and education in the subsequent areas:

Counseling
12 step groups
Church
Relapse Prevention
Anger Management
Money Management
Employment/Resume Prep

In addition, we help our residents with community connections to facilitate access to services such as:
Addiction Treatment
Photo ID Cards
Social Security Cards
Drivers Licenses
Public Aid Applications
Housing Applications
Employment Prospects

We are so thankful for ministry partners who continually step in to support the work God is doing through the ministry. ❤️

Recently, we shared that we were in need of two new refrigerators for the guys. We are incredibly grateful for those who gave, prayed, and helped meet this need so quickly. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of the men we serve every single day.

Thank you for being part of the mission and helping us continue to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 🙏

What a blessing it was to share at Family Sunday at Crossroads Church in Monticello!

We shared from Romans 5:3-5. It encouraged us that even through trials, God is producing perseverance, character, and hope in our lives. What a powerful message for families and believers of all ages. ❤️

The church also wrapped up the morning with “Sundaes on Sunday” to help raise support for the ministry. We are so thankful for the love, encouragement, and generosity shown to JITW!

A special thank you to Crossroads Church and to Bill, our board president, whose church family continues to support and encourage this ministry in such meaningful ways.

Please continue praying for the men of JITW as they share their testimonies and the hope found in Christ wherever God opens doors.
