Remember this Sunday is the Ransomville Lighting of the Wreaths throughout the town with many activities located in the town including the basket raffle and closing ceremonies at the Baptist church at 4:30.

This Sunday November 27, 2022 is the first Sunday of Advent in Year A. Scripture readings are Old Testament Isaiah 2: 1-5, Psalm 122, Epistle is Romans 13: 11-14 and Gospel is Matthew 24: 36-44. . Advent is dedicated to the anticipation for the arrival of Jesus of Nazareth. This is 4 week period leading up to Christmas when the Scripture empasizes hope, peace, love and joy.

Scripture readings for Sunday November 20,2022, Christ the King Sunday. This is the last Sunday after Pentecost in Year C. Next Sunday November 27 begins Advent, the first Sunday in Year A. Readings are Old Testament Jeremiah 23: 1-6, Psalm 46, Epistle is Colossians 11: 11-20 and the Gospel is Luke 23: 33-43.
