This Thursday, June 18th is the Community Coffee Hour at the Ransom United Methodist Church. Stop in anytime between 9:00 and 10:30 for coffee, tea and a sweet treat! Everyone is welcome, bring a friend.

Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day and in Ransom there will be a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10:30 am at the memorial between the post office and IVMS. Laura Dawson, Ransom’s own, will be the guest speaker. There will be free root beer floats after the ceremony provided by the Ransom United Methodist Church. Bring a lawn chair to sit in and drive your vintage car, truck or tractor to help celebrate this special day. And don’t forget to visit the local cemeteries where over 200 veteran graves are marked with flags.
