YOU CANNOT LIVE IN THE FLESH AND EXPECT TO WALK IN THE FREEDOM OF THE SPIRIT.
Jesus said, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Yet we want freedom without surrender.
Victory without obedience.
Deliverance without denying ourselves.
The power of God without submitting to God.
IT DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY.
Scripture is clear:
“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16
You cannot continually feed your flesh and then blame the devil because your flesh is controlling you.
You cannot keep protecting what Jesus told you to surrender and expect to walk in freedom.
You cannot call Him LORD while insisting on remaining lord over your own life.
ABIDING REQUIRES SURRENDER.
Jesus didn’t say, “Add Me to your life.”
He said:
DENY YOURSELF.
TAKE UP YOUR CROSS DAILY.
FOLLOW ME.
Some of the things you keep asking God to deliver you from are the very things you keep feeding, excusing, defending, and refusing to surrender.
YOU CANNOT OVERCOME WHAT YOU REFUSE TO CRUCIFY.
Stop negotiating with your flesh.
Stop making excuses for compromise.
Stop calling partial surrender obedience.
Stop asking Jesus to bless a life you refuse to place completely in His hands.
THE ALTAR IS CALLING FOR MORE THAN YOUR WORDS, IT IS CALLING FOR YOU.
Your pride.
Your bitterness.
Your unforgiveness.
Your lust.
Your habits.
Your relationships.
Your plans.
Your secret places.
Your future.
Your will.
EVERYTHING.
Jesus did not die so you could give Him Sunday while keeping the rest of your life for yourself.
HE IS LORD, AND LORDSHIP DEMANDS SURRENDER.
So make the decision TODAY.
Whatever He has been dealing with you about, LAY IT DOWN.
Whatever you have been defending, SURRENDER IT.
Whatever has been competing with Jesus for the throne of your heart, REMOVE IT.
Whatever the cost…SAY YES.
No more excuses.
No more negotiations.
No more partial surrender.
No more divided heart.
GET OFF THE FENCE.
GET ON THE ALTAR.
TAKE UP YOUR CROSS.
DIE TO SELF.
WALK IN THE SPIRIT.
ABIDE IN CHRIST.
GIVE JESUS EVERYTHING, AND HOLD NOTHING BACK
