CHURCH OPENING DATE:

After meeting with the Board of Elders, the decision was made to start having services at church beginning on Sunday, May 24th. However, since we are still facing the risk of exposure to the Corona virus, we are going to implement a few safety measures. For the first month we will not be having Communion at our services. And for those who attend, we ask that you practice social distancing by allowing appropriate space between you and the people around you with
the exception of your family members. Also, we are asking that people only sit in the pews marked with a red bow to allow empty pew space in front and back of worshipers.

For the first month, as we get organized, we are only having one service per week so that we don’t have people coming into the sanctuary the day after we have our Sunday service. We talked about the possibility of cleaning between services, but it is very difficult to sterilize the entire building to ensure that people will be safe. This temporary schedule will allow us to have a substantial amount of time between services and eliminate the risk of exposure.

Thanks be to God, that He has thus far sustained us during the pandemic, and God willing, we will move forward in his merciful care.
