The world will label you with “religious psychosis” for asking the Holy Spirit to guide you, but normalize getting advice from a demon through mediums.
The world will accuse Christians of being “close-minded”—while they refuse to hear the gospel.
The world will say you’re blind for believing in God, while they believe in karma without question.
The world will label you crazy for believing in miracles, but they believe in manifesting.
The world says our hope in Jesus is “delusional” while they put faith in crystals and tarot cards.
The world says the Bible doesn’t know the right way, but will follow horoscopes for direction.
The world will call you judgmental for standing on biblical truth, but will celebrate sin.
Let the world talk. We’ll keep our eyes on Jesus, follow His Word, and walk in His truth—because His approval is all that matters.

Marlene DeForrest is a Christian fiction author whose stories explore the themes closest to her heart — grace, identity, adoption, and the transformative power of unconditional love.

She wrote Finding Grace because she lived it. Like her characters, she spent years believing that love had to be earned — that God was keeping score. It took an amazingly patient God and a lifetime of unexpected grace to show her otherwise.

Marlene lives with her husband and their rescue dog, Wilma, who reminds her every day what it looks like to receive love freely. She has three adult children and four grandchildren who have taught her more about God's grace than any theology book ever could.

When she isn't writing, Marlene enjoys time with her family and continues to be humbled by a grace she could never earn and could never deserve — but receives anyway.

Finding Grace is her debut novel. She is currently working on a sequel.
