I’m so thankful to God for the many hands and voices he used yesterday during our Resurrection Sunday service. To our beloved choir, both kids and adults, thank you for your sacrifices, your rehearsals, your voices lifted for the glory of Christ. To our sound team, our AVP crew (the AVP was so good, Patricia), ushers, those who prepared food, and those who built the backdrop (Jen and family), THANKS SO MUCH for serving with joy and excellence. This is how we celebrate the resurrection. We go big because Jesus overcame. Praise God for a church that delights to make much of and joyfully exalts the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. SDG!

I’m so thankful to God for the many hands and voices he used yesterday during our Resurrection Sunday service. Dear Fellow Students of God’s Word,

Grace to you and with you! Praise God for the launch of our “Always Ready Class” (ARC 1) last Friday. By His grace, we had around 30 students in class. SDG! We will continue our class tonight, and I wanted to share a moment this week that deeply encouraged me. One of our young adults reflected on Acts 2 and was struck by how Peter wove together Psalms 16 and 110 in his message, and showed Christ as the true fulfillment (no wonder the people who heard Peter’s message were cut to the heart). The text message from our YA ended with this statement, “It was really encouraging to know that a christological reading of the Word is extremely biblical.”
I love seeing him make those connections and I pray that all of us would continue to grow in that same rich, Christ‑centered reading of Scripture. With that in mind, I would like to humbly invite you to join us tonight as we look at “The Presuppositions and Tapestry of Scripture.”
Let’s be workers who handle the Word with care and and joy: Study to show thyself an approved workman…” (2 Tim. 2:15). See you tonight at BCI at 7:30.
