The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 3:11-12 KJV
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord ; neither be weary of his correction: [12] For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Bro. Patrick preached a great message that was so needed today. In today's world, we really need to fear the Lord, seek Him, and let Him direct our paths and lead to wisdom.

When we lead ourselves, we are doomed for destruction. His correction is a show of His unfailing love for us.

If you find yourself on a path filled with strife, sin, worry, doubt, dissatisfaction, and etc., pause and look for the moment you veered from God. When you take that first step toward Him, you are already back on the right path.

Study His Word and apply it with wisdom. Acknowledge Him in ALL thy ways.

A much needed message today to remind us of the choice set before us. Are you godly or ungodly? Do the fruits that you bear point to a Christ-centered life? Are you rooted in His word? Are you a stumbling block or a stepping stone to those seeking Christ? Do you carefully choose those you seek and take advice from?

I pray you choose Jesus today and to live out a godly life. I pray you have a church home that preaches Truth, holds you accountable with humility and loves you. If you don't, we would love for you to come be with us.

We are sinners saved by grace that remember where and what God delivered us from. We just want to serve Him faithfully, truthfully, and grow His kingdom and be in His will.

Psalm 1:1-6 KJV
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. [4] The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. [5] Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
