“The Bridge” between old church leadership and the new developing Holy Hip-hop leadership is wide but not inseparable. Black theology can bring wisdom through relevant biblical teachings and Holy Hip-hop can bring the fearlessness of that spoken word. As long as there is abridged freedom, prolonged suffering, oppression of the poor, and abuse of power by the affluent upon the poor, there must be a

n interdependent connection of Black theology and Holy Hip-hop. When released through the art form of Holy Hip-hip, a spirituality can bridge the communication gap that impedes the voice of God in the inner-city.
