🌷Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos🌷

✨ Our parish family gathered in prayer to celebrate the Dormition of the Mother of God.
We marked this "Summer Pascha" with a beautiful Vesperal Liturgy, the chanting of the Lamentations, and a moving procession around the church with the bier of the Theotokos, which was lovingly adorned with vibrant flowers and Dormition lilies. The finale of the evening, was the spectacular sunset over the church reminding us of the beauty and blessings that come through the intercessions of our most holy Theotokos!

"In giving birth, you preserved your virginity; in falling asleep, you did not forsake the world, O Theotokos..."

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the bier and joined us in worship. May the Holy Mother of God protect and intercede for us all! 🙏✨
