Our big day is rapidly approaching for our 4th Annual “Swing into Summer” golf tournament. This Saturday, June 20, 108 golfers will join us on the links at beautiful Cider Ridge Golf Club in Oxford, AL for our fundraising event that supports our annual Men in Action event “It’s a Steak Out.” We are anticipating the best weather day of the week and some really good conditions Saturday on the fun and challenging course. This coming Saturday, June 20, 108 golfers will descend upon beautiful Cider Ridge Golf Club in Oxford, AL for our 4th Annual “Swing into Summer” golf tournament fundraiser. It promises to be a big day on the links as we raise the funds for our annual “It’s a Steak Out” in August. This year we have the support of over forty fantastic sponsors and today we spotlight our three-hole sponsors, Bowdon Tire & Radiator, Southern Lady Restaurant, and Robinson’s Overstock Warehouse. Bowdon Tire & Radiator, owned and operated by David Williams, is a full-service tire business who have been in business since 1961. We had another fantastic monthly breakfast at the Southern Lady restaurant this morning. Brother Joe Sims, pastor at Salem Baptist Church, brought a great devotional using 1st Corinthians and several verses from Deuteronomy. He challenged us to go into places that we may not want to go; like when Jonah finally went to Nineveh where 120,000 people were eventually saved. Great food and fantastic Christian fellowship again this morning. Men, if you don’t have a church home, we would like to invite you to join us next month on July 11 at Southern Lady. Ten days and counting! Our “Swing into Summer” golf tournament fundraiser is quickly approaching and we want to recognize three more of our terrific sponsors today. Only eleven days until our 4th Annual “Swing Into Summer” golf tournament where we will welcome 108 golfers on June 20 to beautiful Cider Ridge Golf Club in Oxford, AL. This is our annual fundraiser that supports our annual Men’s Event, “It’s a Steak Out” in August. This year we have over forty-five sponsors who have come on board to help us bring the absolute best experience for each golfer at the tournament.
