Today I want to share a simple truth from God’s Word about how we live each day. Proverbs 11:2 says, “When pride comes, disgrace follows, but with humility comes wisdom.”

This verse is clear and honest. Pride makes us think we are better than others or that we do not need God. It leads to trouble and shame. But when we choose humility, we walk in a way that pleases God. Humility opens the door to real wisdom because it keeps our hearts teachable and close to the Lord.

This speaks to my heart. I know how easy it is to become proud when things go well. I have seen in my own life that pride brings problems while a humble spirit brings peace and good choices. God gives wisdom to those who admit they need Him.

Friends, let us choose humility today. Let us put away pride and ask God to guide us with His wisdom in everything we do.

Pray with me,

Dear Lord, thank You for this day and for Your constant care. Please forgive me when pride rises up in my heart. Help me walk in humility and receive the wisdom that comes from You. Keep my heart teachable and close to Yours. Guide my steps and let my life honor You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Today I want to share a helpful truth from God’s Word about staying close to Him. The verse is 2 Chronicles 26:5, It says, “He sought God throughout the days of Zechariah, who taught him the fear of God. During the time that he sought the Lord, God gave him success.”

This verse is about King Uzziah. As long as he looked to God and listened to good teaching, God helped him and gave him success. But the key part is that it happened while he sought the Lord.

This speaks to my heart. It reminds me that real success comes from seeking God every day. When I spend time praying, reading the Bible, and learning from His Word, things go better in my life. But when I get busy and forget to seek Him, I often struggle more. God does not promise an easy life, but He does promise to be with us and guide us when we turn to Him.

Friends, let us make it our goal to seek God every single day. Let us listen to His Word and walk in His ways. When we do this, we will see His hand at work in our lives.

Pray with me,

Dear Lord, thank You for this day and for Your faithful love. Please forgive me when I forget to seek You. Help me to look for You every day and listen to Your teaching. Give me success as I walk with You and keep my heart close to Yours. Guide my steps and fill me with Your wisdom. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Today I want to share a quiet truth from God’s Word that brings me peace when life feels unfair. The verse is Psalms 37:7. It says, “Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the person who carries out evil plans.”

This verse speaks to my heart. It is easy to look around and feel upset when bad people seem to get ahead or when evil plans appear to work. We can get stirred up inside and want to fix everything right away. But God tells us to be still and quiet before Him. He asks us to wait with hope and trust that He is in control.

Waiting is not easy for me, but I have learned that God sees everything. He knows the whole story. When I stop worrying about what others are doing and turn my eyes back to Him, my heart grows calm. God is working even when I cannot see it. He will take care of justice in His perfect time.

Friends, let us practice being silent before the Lord today. Let us wait on Him with hope and refuse to let anger or envy take over. God is faithful. He will act for those who trust Him.

Pray with me,

Dear Lord, thank You for this day and for Your constant care. Please forgive me when I get upset over what others do or when life seems unfair. Help me be silent before You and wait with hope. Calm my heart and teach me to trust Your timing. Give me peace as I rest in Your love. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Today I want to share a simple truth from God’s Word that has helped me many times. The verse is Luke 12:25 . Jesus asks this question: “Can any of you add one hour to your life by worrying?”

Think about that for a moment. Jesus is speaking directly to us. He knows how easy it is to worry about tomorrow, about money, about health, about our loved ones, or about things we cannot control. We spend so much time thinking about what might go wrong. But Jesus gently asks us, does worrying actually help? Can it add even one hour to our lives? The honest answer is no.

Worrying does not fix problems. It only steals our peace and takes our eyes off God. Jesus wants us to trust our Heavenly Father instead. The God who takes care of the birds and the flowers will surely take care of us. He knows what we need.

When I feel worried, I remember this verse. It reminds me to stop, breathe, and give my concerns to God. He is strong enough to handle every problem I face. Instead of worrying, I can pray and do the next right thing that God puts in front of me.

Friends, let us choose trust over worry today. God is with us. He is good, and He loves us more than we can imagine.

Pray with me,

Dear Lord, thank You for this day and for Your loving care. Please forgive me when I worry instead of trusting You. Help me remember that worrying cannot add even one hour to my life. Fill my heart with peace as I give my concerns to You. Teach me to walk in faith each day. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
