May 24, 2026, Pentecost Sunday at RCOGOP.

Pentecost is the birth of the church, and we find direction here for ministry. Every believer is important to the body. We find on this day, God wants to strengthen us and our out reach with the Holy Ghost anointing. It’s the fire that purifies us for service…

After a wonderful message from Pastor Whit Mayton, entitled “You Heard It Here”, Brother Dennis Cooke was officially confirmed as deacon of our church. Our church also was blessed to have taken in six new members. The Kinney Family — Jason, Iliana and Malia, Linda Kinney, Tom Hayes and Khristian Martinez. Sister Angela Garner also received the right hand of fellowship confirming her previous joining.

Following this blessed service was a good old fashioned cookout with hotdogs, hamburgers and all the trimmings. And of course lots of good fellowship.

We hope you will take time to come out and worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for Sunday school and 11:00 am for worship service. And on Wednesday evening’s for 6:30 pm bible study and prayer time.
