T.R.Y. Youth was on fire tonight!🙌🏾🔥

📖 We learned that God can use what you have through John 6:1–14, where five loaves and two fish became more than enough in Jesus' hands.

💡 Our youth also put their creativity to the test by taking ordinary everyday items and coming up with as many different uses for them as possible. The activity reminded us that just as ordinary objects have many purposes, God can use each of us in extraordinary ways when we place our gifts in His hands.

📚 We also reviewed the Scripture challenge from our last youth session! Each youth was given a different Bible verse to study, and tonight they were challenged to recognize their assigned Scripture and write it on the board from memory.

✨ Our overall focus point was to NEVER underestimate what God has placed inside of you. Your purpose isn't determined by what you have—it's determined by whose hands you're in.

Yesterday, our Pastor Meech Dorsett preached a powerful word from Psalm 139:23 — “Search me, O God, and know my heart…” 🙏🏾🔥

Sometimes we ask God to bless our hands, but we forget to ask Him to search our hearts. Before God takes us higher, He wants to deal with what’s on the inside. Search my heart, Lord. Remove what doesn’t look like You. Purify my motives, fix my attitude, heal my heart, and make me more like You.

Lord, search my heart! ❤️‍🔥

What a word! What a reminder that God is not just concerned with what people see on the outside—He’s concerned with who we are on the inside.
