I am seeking a veteran in need of some sort of assistance. Home repair, auto repair, prosthetic etc.

Please private message me, I will not respond to comments posted in public. Please keep in mind, I will verify you are a veteran and so forth. I will be contacting the VFW in the morning as well. We are looking to help an individual not a 501(c).

The other day I met a lady who has lived in Ramona for a very long time, her husband was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. My husband and I visited them and I could tell the lady was on the point of tears when I told her to contact me if they needed anything, anything at all.

Her husband took medical
retirement and she works at a minimum wage job here in Ramona. I would like to gather some food, gift cards or anything that they could use on a regular basis to maybe help them out. I encourage anybody local to deliver it yourself because I also believe they are lonely I would love a visit. You could also meet the lady at her work, she works in a small store and you could easily chat. if you're interested in helping I'll give you the contact information for the lady.

I know a disabled senior citizen who is wheelchair-bound in desperate desperate desperate need of clothing. Her clothing are so old and stretched out you can see through them. She has had some of these items from 25 years ago. What she does wear is mostly pajama style clothing, stretchy cotton.

She has not bought clothing for so many years she doesn't know what size she is. I'm guessing 3X on top and 2X on the bottom. No jeans, just simple stretchy breathable clothing. High collar T-shirts and leggings style pants.

Next time you are in Walmart or somewhere similar, maybe you can buy one item off clearance and we can get this lady a wardrobe together. Let's do this!

EVERYONE PLEASE READ: I NEED A FAVOR

This was the headline of a note written by Rebecca Lyn.
It's about her cousin Hallee.
Hallee has autism.
And last year no one showed up to her birthday party.
Not one person.

But that’s where all of us come in.
Here’s what Rebecca wrote about Hallee and the simple favor she's asking:

Hallee is a beautiful young woman-both inside and out.
She is funny, sweet, caring, smart, an athlete, a jigsaw puzzle champion, a wonderful student, and a best friend to all.
Hallee is also a person who just happens to have Autism.

She has never let that small detail define who she is as a person.
Which is why I refuse to use it as something to describe her.

Hallee's Birthday is fast approaching!
And this is where I have a favor to ask of all of you....

Below is a picture of Hallee last year at her 18th birthday party.
She had been so excited to have a party with her friends.
She wanted to go bowling, have fun, and eat cake and Ice Cream.
Invitations went out to her classmates at school and to other friends in the area.

Hallee sat at her party anxiously waiting for her friends to arrive so they could have fun....but Hallee's friends would never arrive.
Not a single one.

Below is the picture of her celebrating alone - eating her birthday cake.
My cousin is a beautiful young woman who will always have the mind of a child...so as you can imagine, she was heartbroken and beyond sad.
She was hurt...

But you can help make this year’s birthday incredible!!
I would love to flood her mailbox with birthday cards, from all over!
Hal loves getting mail- this would be the best birthday gift she could ask for.

If you could find it in your heart to take a few mins out of your day and send her a card, I would be forever grateful.
This would mean a lot to her mother as well, for as you can imagine, watching your child cry into her birthday cake breaks your heart.

If there is anyone who deserves a great birthday, this is the girl.

There is a family whose husband got into a front and collision and cannot afford to get his car fixed. He is disabled and his wife works two jobs to take care of their four children. I'm looking for a charitable organization that will fix his vehicle for a tax write off from my nonprofit I work for.
