Grace Reformed Baptist Church is a confessional, Christ-centered church located in Ramey, PA, serving the communities of Houtzdale, Philipsburg, Madera, and surrounding areas of Central Pennsylvania. We are a small, welcoming congregation committed to glorifying God through reverent worship, expository preaching, and intentional, loving fellowship. We are grounded in historic Ref

ormed theology, affirming the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, and emphasizing God’s sovereignty, the centrality of the gospel, and life-on-life discipleship. Our Lord’s Day worship is marked by simplicity, a blended use of ancient and modern hymns, and a strong focus on faithful exposition of God’s Word. We take seriously the Great Commission and strive to proclaim the gospel in both word and life. Our desire is to help believers grow into mature disciples of Christ through consistent teaching, meaningful fellowship, and a gospel culture shaped by truth, love, and reverence. About Our Teaching Pastor

Pastor Daniel Arter serves as the founding and teaching pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church. He is known for clear, doctrinally grounded, application-rich preaching rooted in the historic Reformed tradition. His sermons aim to unfold the depth and details of Scripture, always pointing listeners to Christ and the gospel of grace. Pastor Daniel blends theological precision with a sincere pastoral heart, caring deeply for the spiritual well-being of his congregation. About Our History

Grace Reformed Baptist Church began as Grace & Peace Bible Church in 2020 and was replanted in 2023 under its current name and confessional identity. We are affiliated with the Reformed Baptist Network (RBNet) and are joyfully committed to the ongoing work of gospel proclamation, biblical worship, and covenantal community in Central Pennsylvania.

To our GRBC Family,

Today was our final public worship gathering and a few words ought to be spoken in light of this. These past years at Grace Reformed Baptist Church have been full of joys, growth, and God’s faithfulness—but they have also been marked by challenges that have led us to this moment. Closing our doors was not an easy decision, but we trust God’s wisdom and sovereignty in it.

Even in the hardships, we have seen God at work. We’ve prayed together, studied His Word, served our community, and walked through life together. Every laugh, every tear, every moment of faithfulness has mattered. You, our church family, made GRBC a home—and for that, we are deeply thankful.

A few practical notes as we move forward:

It was a pleasure to celebrate with Seth as he made his public profession of faith this evening (9.28.25). The water was cold, but the weather was great otherwise.
