S3 2024 is in the books!! We had such a great summer worshipping God and learning about the Fruits of the Spirit 🌳🍎🍊🍋🥭 Galatians 5:22-23 “But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law.”

Thank you to our awesome leaders for all your help and dedication! And be praying for our sweet kiddos as they start a new school year 🙏

Some S3 snapshots from the last two weeks! Our kiddos have learned about 4 more Fruits of the Spirit: Joy, Peace, Patience, & Faithfulness 🌳🍎🍊🍐🥭

Our slip & slide kickball kickoff night was filled with splashes, wipeouts, and home runs! 🌊☀️⚽️ Last night we learned about the first fruit of the spirit: Love! ❤️ Our kiddos talked about all the different people they love in their lives, how we can show love to our neighbors, and the most important love of all: God’s ultimate unconditional love for us, aka Agape Love ❤️

“This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” - 1 John 4:13-16

S3 is BACK at Chewalla Baptist Church for the summer!! 😄 Come join us on Sunday nights at 5:30pm in the fellowship hall as we learn about the Fruits of the Spirit and have a blast worshiping God and playing games together! Tonight’s activity is a Slip n Slide Kickball Kickoff ☀️🌊 so be sure to bring extra clothes and a towel!

Who remembers playing Battleship as a kid? Our S3 sailors were the BOMB at playing the life-sized version! 🌊⛵️💣
Our seafaring crew here may look a little different than the real thing, but these kids learned how to navigate the stormy seas of life with their Armor of God!

Matthew 8:24-27 - "Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, 'Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!' He replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?' Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, 'What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!'"

With all the hot weather this week, just imagine you’re back at S3 getting cooled down with some Water Trivia 😎💦 these teams used their Belt of Truth on Sunday to pull from the truth of the Bible and answer some tough head scratchers.

We’ll be back at it again learning about the next piece of the Armor of God on July 9th at 5:30! See ya then!!

It's summer time! You know what that means? S3 is back for 2023!!! 😄☀️ We had such a great Kickball Kick-off night this past Sunday, and we can't wait to spend the summer learning about the Armor of God and having fun with all these awesome kids!

Ever wondered what a typical night of S3 Bible trivia looks like? 🧐 Here's a quick summary...

We are so proud of our S3 kiddos and how much they know about the Bible! Ask our leaders and they'll tell you, these kids answered some hard questions exactly right. We can't wait to get back together tomorrow night at 5:30 for more worship and fun! 😄☀️
