Faith, Welcome & Belonging ❤️

Messiah Lutheran Church has become a COMPASS Partner with Autism Action Partnership!

Through autism training and collaboration with AAP, we’re learning how to better welcome and support autistic individuals and their families. This recognition reflects our commitment to building a church community where people with different sensory and social needs can feel a sense of belonging.

Thank you to Autism Action Partnership for its guidance and to everyone who participated in the training. We look forward to continuing to learn and putting that understanding into practice.

One upcoming step: our first Neuro-Sensitive Worship service on Sunday, November 1, at 1:00 PM.

Sometimes a moment to pause is exactly what we need. 🌿

At our patio dedication, we shared stories of blessing and God’s presence—in prayers at hospital bedsides, words remembered, loved ones deeply missed, and the simple joys that help us keep going.

A stranger’s smile. Children playing. Friends who show up. Even a dog with its head out the car window.

May this patio be a place to breathe, reflect, pray, connect—or simply be. Whether you’ve been part of Messiah for years or are looking for a place to belong, there is room for you here.

Whether you donate candy, host a decorated trunk, sponsor an activity, or make a behind-the-scenes gift, your participation helps create the photo booths, craft stations, and youth activities that make this afternoon memorable for local families.
