An overview of the S.O.W.E.R.S.® leadership training program:
The S.O.W.E.R.S.® training program provides one of the best environments in which a student of the Bible can develop themselves to be the best man or woman of God they can be. It is a time for a man or woman to continue to develop their true, vital, spiritual relationship with God. Our foundations are rooted in the principles taught in
the Power for Abundant Living series and the Way Corps principles as enumerated by Dr. Wierwille and George Jess. During the term we also study related material such as Figures of Speech by Dr. E.W. Pallai, and relevant materials from the University of Life series along with other supporting documentation and teachers. The structure is based on four hours of study and four hours of work per day, plus an evening schedule as it was with the early Way Corps. There is no cost to the student and the S.O.W.E.R.S.® organization covers room and board. However, each student is responsible for his own needs beyond room and board. S.O.W.E.R.S.® is a 501(c)(3) “non-profit” organization and we do receive tax deductible donations to help keep the program up and running. As a guideline, our target audience is the next generation believers because we want people who haven’t had an opportunity for this kind of training to get the chance. Of course, we reserve the right to make exceptions based on individual circumstances. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent. No change in marital status during session. Program to be administered on an honor basis. Any volunteer may be dismissed at any time and/or program canceled at sole discretion of those charged with oversight. A few examples of areas that the S.O.W.E.R.S.® program provides training in includes, but is not limited to, the following:
HOW to study the Bible accurately, practical application of the scriptures, teaching and leading home fellowships, etiquette, and handling matters within the family with love and proportion. At the end of the year, a student should be able to go forth and serve God’s people in an area of concern, interest, and need. Those who are interested in an application for the training program should visit our website (www.sowersonline.com) and contact Victor Wierwille who will send them an application to start the process. If you are interested, you are always welcome to come visit us in Mississippi and see the program first hand! “The gates are open.”
