We love being part of the Pillar Network and playing a role in planting and revitalizing churches around the world!

This past Sunday, we were privileged to welcome Liam Garvie, Associate Pastor at Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh, Scotland, and International Director for the Pillar Network, to share God’s Word with us. We were also honored to have Ken Mbugua, Pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Nairobi, Kenya, join us and lead our congregation in corporate prayer over Liam and the work of the Pillar Network.

We’re Grateful for global kingdom partnerships like this!🌎✝️🙌

The women of Christ Fellowship Leesville gathered for brunch this morning. It was a lovely time of fellowship, worship through song, and listening to our guest speaker, Laura Blalock, teach on Hebrews 12:1-2 as she encouraged us to run our race well.

This past Sunday, CFL installed Emery Weist as an elder/pastor. We’re grateful to God for his mercy and kindness to provide godly men to shepherd and lead His people.

1 Peter 5:2-4: “shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; 3 not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.”

By God’s grace, CFL has the Harward Education Fund to assist church members who are pursuing a seminary education. This year Scott Jacobson, Jeremiah Poland, and Tripp Black received funds to cover a portion of their seminary expenses. We’re thankful we get to financially support those who are called to ministry for the glory of Christ.
