Unsure about AI or how it fits in the church? Love it? Hate it? MR JESUS is a short comedy about a down-on-his-luck actor who wakes up to discover his image has been stolen to make a GenAl Jesus, and now everyone believes he’s the second coming. In a world where many of us don't know the ethical limits of AI, how it fits in the life of the church, or maybe feel afraid of this technology; this satirical film opens a door to thought provoking conversation about the role of AI in religious spaces.

Our adult Sunday School class just finished Our Hearts Were Strangely Lukewarm: The American Methodist Church and the Struggle with White Supremacy by John Elford.

Tomorrow in worship, Pastor Sarah will summarize the study for those who couldn’t attend as we learn together about racism in the American Methodist Church, the sin of being lukewarm, and continue to dream about ways we can better live in the world as followers of Christ who honor our baptismal vows to renounce the spiritual forces of wickedness,
reject the evil powers of this world, and resist injustice.
