"Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so"

This past Sunday night was our Quarterly Singing Night. Its always a blessing when our whole church comes together to worship. Our adult class, youth group, and spanish class all united to praise God for an hour, followed by food and fellowship!

We have a few pre-selected songs we sing and then do a time of song suggestions. And we always have way more suggestions than time (one of our rows of teenagers had a stack of requests!). Here was one of the songs that was requested. We hope you can join us Sunday when we praise again and that you look forward to our next Quarterly Singing Night.

This Sunday we were able to host a lunch for our young adults/college students. We are thankful for this group and looking forward to our next events!

Wednesday starts our new Adult and Youth quarter. We hope you can join us for some exciting classes. Our youth group is continuing their study through our Daily Bible Reading sections.

Our adults on Wednesday will go through a study on the Life of Paul. On Sunday Morning we will have two adult classes: our auditorium class will be going through "God According to God," and our portico class will be looking at the book of Acts in "The Kingdom Unleashed."

*Heads up* As of right now, the first entrance to Barringer Drive is closed. If it still is tomorrow, please drive a little further down and take the second entrance.

Tomorrow is going to be an awesome day! In the morning we get the privilege to gather to worship God and learn in Bible classes for all ages!

Tomorrow night is our Quarterly Singing Night. We will have an hour of worship and praise followed by a time of food and fellowship.

On the second day of Elisha Appreciation Week, can you imagine if he wasn't a minister? Maybe as an Auburn football player?

A superhero? Even though he kind of already is...

Or a luchador? Crazy. We are thankful he was called to ministry!

After worship yesterday, we were able to celebrate our preacher, Elisha. He has been with us 10 years now, and we are so blessed by God because of it. Our Elders have dubbed this week Elisha Appreciation Week, so lets all make him feel extra special!

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted storms, we have decided to cancel the Foam Party. We are hoping that we can be plan our Foam Party later this fall if dates work. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Tonight, we continue our Mountain Top Summer Series in our English Adult Bible Class. We are blessed to have the Minister from the Roosevelt Drive Church of Christ, Robin Vick, as our speaker tonight. We hope you can join us at 7PM! We also have classes for kids, youth group, and a spanish class.

Our college students are at their new school or on their way back now. Our teachers are setting up their classrooms. Our youth and kids have started or will be starting their new school year soon. We hope that whoever you know who is starting school has their new year prayed for. Here are 5 things to pray for them from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.
