Partners in Health and Wholeness Partners in Health and Wholeness, an initiative of the North Carolina Council of Churches, is designed to bridge issues of faith, health, and justice.

Our work is guided through the lens of holistic care to promote the well-being of the whole person. In order to live out the example of Jesus Christ – someone who dedicated his life to healing the sick, guiding the lost, comforting the downcast, and

even raising the dead – this initiative seeks to provide people of faith with the tools necessary to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. By improving the health and well-being of people of faith, we hope to impact the larger community and ultimately reduce the health care burden on our state.

Mental Health First Aid USA teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a
person toward appropriate care if necessary.
This class is split into two days, June 29 and
30. Participants MUST attend both sessions
to be certified.
