An Inclusive Congregation of Followers of the Teachings of Jesus Christ. Throughout our entire history, inclusion has been, and continues to be, a hallmark and a strength of St. As a congregation we fully believe and embrace God’s call to diversity. For as God reminds us through the Prophet Isaiah: “Even those I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burn

t offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7).

Happy Friday! ☀️💛

As we close out another week, take a moment to thank God for carrying you through every high and low. You survived things that tried to break you, and you are still standing today by grace, strength, and faith.

This Friday, remember that self-care is not selfish. Rest is important. Peace is important. Your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being matter too. Take time this weekend to slow down, breathe, reset, and pour back into yourself. Spend time with people who bring you peace, do things that make your soul happy, and allow yourself to rest without guilt.

Be kind to yourself the same way you are kind to others. God never intended for us to carry every burden alone.

May your Friday be filled with peace, love, rest, healing, and countless blessings. 🙏🏾✨

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 ❤️

As we move through this week, let us be thankful for the people God has placed in our lives, those who love us, support us, pray for us, and walk beside us through both joy and struggle. Life is precious, and so are the connections we share with one another.

Strive to be kind, compassionate, forgiving, and loving, just as Jesus showed us through His example. A simple act of kindness, a helping hand, a phone call, a prayer, or even a smile can make a greater difference than we may ever realize.

This week, challenge yourself to do one good deed for your fellow brothers and sisters. Lift someone up. Encourage someone who is struggling. Show grace where it is needed most. The world needs more love, more patience, and more people willing to care for one another.

May we all continue to lead with love, walk with humility, and reflect the light of Christ in all that we do. 🙏🏾❤️

Tomorrow is not promised. Today is a sad day. we pause to pray for the family and friends of Melissa Christians during this difficult time. Melissa was called home on May 25th 2026.

May God bring comfort, peace, and strength to all who loved her. Melissa touched many lives with her kindness, faith, and presence. She was truly a faithful servant whose impact will not be forgotten.

May she rest in eternal peace and may her memory continue to be a blessing to all who knew her.

Take a moment today to reflect, share a memory, or tell us how Melissa touched your life. Let us honor her legacy by remembering the love, joy, and light she shared with others. ❤️

Good morning and happy Sunday! ☀️

Be joyful on this beautiful Sunday morning. God has given us another day to celebrate, another opportunity to love, to grow, to rest, and to give thanks. No matter what this week has held, today is a reminder that grace is new every morning.

May your day be filled with peace, laughter, worship, and the comfort of knowing you are blessed beyond measure. Take a moment to breathe in the beauty of this day and remember: every sunrise is a gift and every new day is another chance to walk in faith, hope, and love.

“ This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 🙏🏾

As we prepare for Memorial Day weekend, let us take time to reflect with grateful hearts for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸🙏🏾

This week, may we remember that freedom comes with sacrifice, and may we continue to pray for military families, veterans, first responders, and all who carry the weight of loss and service.

At St. John’s MCC, we believe in faith, love, unity, and supporting one another through every season of life. As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, let us also gather in gratitude, compassion, and prayer.

❤️ Join us this Sunday for worship.

There is a place for you here.

✨ HAPPY HUMPDAY FROM ST. JOHN’S MCC ✨

Congratulations… you survived Monday AND Tuesday! 😂🙏🏾

Take a deep breath, grab another cup of coffee, and remember:God has carried you this far through the week, and He is not about to stop now. ❤️

Life can get busy, stressful, and overwhelming, but sometimes we all need a reminder to slow down, laugh a little, pray a little more, and keep pushing forward.

If you’re tired this week: Pray about it. Rest when needed. Drink some water. And maybe don’t answer every text message immediately. 😅

You’ve got this, and more importantly, God’s got YOU.

We’re praying for our church, our community, and everyone trying to make it through the week one day at a time. 🙏🏾
