Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all people, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth by finishing the work that you gave me to do. So now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had in your presence before the world existed."

The Feast of St. Mark the Evangelist is celebrated in The Episcopal Church on April 25th to honor the author of the second Gospel. He is recognized as a missionary companion to Paul and Barnabas and, traditionally, the secretary to St. Peter who recorded his memories of Jesus. (episcopalchurch.org)

On World Health Day most focus on their physical and mental health, however - how is your spiritual health?

Labyrinths have long been used as a tool for spiritual wellness. The St. Ambrose labyrinth is part of a three phase project called the Healing Pod, which exists to reveal, refresh, and revive. Our walking meditation and prayer garden will refresh spirits. Our therapeutic and restorative gardens will revive mind, body, and soul by bringing nature’s healing elements directly to the community. Labyrinths can be used for walking meditation to assist in finding peace and clarity, managing stress, assisting with decision making, self-exploration and reflection.

This World Health Day, plan to spend some time at our labyrinth. If not today, soon! Learn more at stambroseraleigh.org/worship/labyrinth.
